ANV Biennale is a space for support and professional development for neurodivergent artists with different levels of experience, backgrounds, and forms of engagement with art.

The project exists as both an artistic platform and a community. We aim to create an environment where people can feel safe, be themselves, and grow at a comfortable pace.

The project welcomes:

  • Professional artists

  • Emerging artists, hobby artists, and young participants (under 18)

  • Volunteers

  • Specialists and partners

Below you’ll find detailed information about participation formats, the application process, and opportunities for each group.

Professional Artists.​

This section is for artists who are actively engaged in the arts and developing their own artistic practice.

It welcomes both established and emerging artists.

To apply:

Fill out the application form.

Please include basic information about yourself, a description of your artistic practice, and examples of your work.

After submitting the form, the project team will contact you with the next steps. In some cases, this may include a short conversation or email exchange. Following this process, selected applicants may be invited to join the project.

The annual participation fee is 300 ₪.

What Do Participants Receive? Exhibitions & Projects ANV Biennale organizes several exhibition projects each year in collaboration with cultural institutions across Israel. Project participants are the first to hear about new opportunities and receive support from the team throughout every stage — from selection to production and presentation. Visibility & Professional Development The project supports artists in: - Participating in initiatives by other organizations - Taking part in museum and gallery projects - Gaining visibility through publications and public platforms Lectures & Educational Program - Participants receive access to lectures, talks, and events focused on professional development in the arts and on neurodiversity. - Members of the community receive free or discounted access to these programs. Community & Professional Exchange Participants become part of an active community and gain access to internal group chats where, in a welcoming atmosphere, they can share work, discuss ideas, receive support, and learn about new opportunities. Growth & Professional Development Over the past three years, many participants who began their journey within the project have developed professional CVs and achieved deeper integration into the contemporary art field.

ANV Biennale is a self-sustained non-profit project. All participation fees go toward supporting and developing the program. Participation in the project’s exhibitions is free for members. In some cases, depending on the venue’s conditions, additional costs related to printing, materials, or specific installation requirements may apply.

Emerging Artists & Young Participants (Under 18)

This section is intended for children and teens, young artists, adult non-professional participants, and people for whom art is a form of self-expression, exploration, and connection rather than a profession.​

We want participation to feel accessible and supportive. Professional education or exhibition experience is not required. We welcome different forms of communication, self-expression, and participation. Parents, guardians, and representatives may be involved in the process, and the project team supports participants and families throughout every stage of participation.

After reviewing the application, the project team will contact the participant or their representatives to ensure the process is as clear and comfortable as possible.

The annual participation fee is 400 ₪.

What Do Participants Receive? Participation in Project Exhibitions Participants have the opportunity to take part in Biennale exhibitions and present their work in a supportive and thoughtful environment, with guidance from the project team. Support & a Comfortable Process The Biennale team supports participants and their families throughout every stage of involvement, helping the process feel clearer, calmer, and more comfortable, while allowing everyone to participate at their own pace. Educational Events Participants and families receive access to lectures and events focused on artistic development and neurodiversity. Free or discounted access is available for participants and their families. Community & Connection The project creates a space for connection, communication, and a sense of belonging. It is a welcoming and supportive environment where participants can share their work, connect with others, and stay informed about project opportunities.

Volunteers

Volunteers become part of an interdisciplinary project at the intersection of art and social practice, focused on supporting artists and promoting the values of neurodiversity.

They contribute to the project in a variety of areas, including:

  • Exhibition production and support

  • Design

  • Social media

  • Project coordination

Participation formats can vary depending on experience, availability, and interests.

What Do Volunteers Receive? Involvement in a Cultural Initiative An opportunity to become part of a project working at the intersection of contemporary art, community, and social impact. Experience in the Cultural Field The chance to participate in the organization of exhibitions, public programs, and community initiatives within the context of Israel’s contemporary cultural scene. Flexible Ways to Participate Volunteers can contribute in different areas — from production and coordination to design, social media, and independent initiatives. Access to Events & Programs Priority invitations to events, free access to lectures, and special programs for volunteers. Community & Connections Access to the project community and opportunities to build connections with artists, curators, and members of the cultural field.
